Right to Cancel

This page explains your right to cancel as a consumer in the United Kingdom, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, and how to exercise it when shopping at BritKits.

2) How to Exercise Your Right to Cancel
You can cancel your contract in either of these ways:
- Electronically (recommended): click the "Cancel My Order" button at the top of this page and fill in the form.
- By written notice: send a clear statement of your decision to cancel to contact@britkits.uk, using the model form in section 3 if you wish.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is enough to send your notice before the 14-day period expires.

4) Effects of Cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for any supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a delivery type other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and, in any event, within 14 days from the day we receive your cancellation notice.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is the earliest.
You will have to send back the goods without undue delay and in any event within 14 days. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods, unless the return is due to a fault or error on our part.
5) Exceptions to the Right to Cancel
Under applicable UK consumer law, the right to cancel does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised — for example, shirts personalised with a custom name and number.
Personalised products remain eligible for return only in case of a manufacturing fault or a personalisation error on our part, in line with our Refund Policy.
